The Success Story of Nutan Adarsh College :

With the motto "Tamaso Ma Jyotirgamaya" (From Darkness to Light), Nutan Adarsh Arts, Commerce, and Smt. M. H. Wegad Science College in Umred has been serving the people of Umred for the past 54 years. "Knowledge brings wisdom, wisdom brings morality, morality brings progress, progress brings wealth, and wealth brings overall development." With this noble objective, Ideal Education Society, Umred, tirelessly worked to establish Nutan Adarsh Arts and Commerce College in 1968 to provide education to the last person in the village, opening the doors of progress for them. Dr. Mukund Buradkar was the first Principal of this college.
